What is the proper quality?
Quality means continuous improvement, monitored by well-defined
and measurable activities.
Clients and employees have expectations and demands.
The proper quality gives results when it meets expectations
and demands and is on time.
How do we achieve the proper
quality?
The proper quality is achieved through teamwork throughout
all processes. The proper quality is achieved when we
all do the things properly right from the beginning.
In order to ensure quality at source, certain demands
must prevail on our work. In order to measure our work
and set targets to aim at, we must have measurable quality
objectives.
Who has an influence on proper
quality?
View your colleague as your customer. We must supply
the proper quality to our colleagues. To do this we
must thoroughly understand the expectations made of
our work.
The proper quality – Why?
The proper quality gives us satisfied clients. Satisfied
clients bring success. By doing things properly right
from the beginning we do not need to correct things
afterwards, and this means we use our resources better.
Quality brings revenues. Lack of quality results in
costs. The proper quality gives us increased profitability
– increased revenues and lower costs.
